If you would like to send your child to Hatton Park, please do call the School Office and speak to Mrs Gunningham or Mrs Drake to make an appointment. We would love to show you our school so that you get a feel for who we are and what we do. Please do be aware that, at present, we might be unable to show you around during the school day. It might be after the children have left the building.

If you decide that you would like your child to attend Hatton Park, all applications must be made through Cambridgeshire’s Admissions department. They can be contacted via their website, linked below, or by contacting by telephone or email.

Our Admissions Arrangements

As laid out the the Cambridgeshire's First Steps booklet, places are allocated at Hatton Park according to these criteria. Please be aware that our Pupil Admission Number (PAN) is still currently 60.

Deferred Entry to Reception

Children are entitled to a full-time Reception place in the September following their fourth birthday. However, parents do not have to ensure that their child attends school until they reach compulsory school age. Parents may therefore choose to defer their child's admission to Reception until later in the same academic year, provided that the place is taken up before the beginning of the final term of that academic year. Parents may also request that their child attends part-time until they reach compulsory school age.

For children born between 1 April and 31 August (summer-born children), parents may request that admission to Reception is delayed until the September following their fifth birthday and that their child is admitted to Reception rather than Year 1. Requests should be made in writing to the admission authority at the time of application. Each request will be considered individually, taking into account the child’s circumstances, the views of parents and any relevant professional evidence, in line with the and guidance.
