PLEDGES
The Primary PLEDGES curriculum is designed to encourage an outward focus on leadership, initiative, and community among our young learners.
We have an uncompromising commitment to ensure that every child achieves their full potential during their time here.
In order to further broaden the children’s access to a range of activities and opportunities and extend the boundaries of learning we have designed a set of Academy PLEDGES that all pupils are expected to experience and develop.

Our primary schools’ version of the PLEDGES programme introduces key principles of character development. It is designed to create a cohesive learning experience that recognises that life experiences and learning extend beyond the classroom. These experiences can occur in various settings, such as at home, during outdoor activities, through community engagement, or while travelling, aligning with our ‘Learning Outside The Classroom’ initiative.
In enabling children to get the most out of their learning we hope that every single child will achieve their potential and leave the school as well-rounded, happy and secure individuals, with high self-esteem.
The programme follows a thematic approach, with primary schools focusing on a different element each half term. This structure provides regular opportunities for reflection and celebration of learning at the end of each term, reinforcing the skills and concepts developed across diverse settings.
